Conservatory roof blinds help with Temperature Control
Conservatory roof blinds are an effective way to regulate the temperature of your conservatory, particularly during the summer months when the sun’s rays can cause the interior to become uncomfortably hot. By controlling the amount of sunlight entering the room, you can keep the space cool and comfortable, making it a more pleasant environment to spend time in. Heat rises, so during the winter any heating that you put on in your conservatory escapes quickly through the roof. Draw your honeycomb roof blinds and you will feel the difference instantly.

Conservatory roof blinds help with Light Control
Conservatory roof blinds are an effective way to control the amount of light entering your conservatory. This is particularly important for conservatories that receive direct sunlight, as the excess light can be harsh and cause glare. By using conservatory roof blinds, you can regulate the amount of light entering the room, creating a more comfortable and inviting space.

Conservatory roof blinds help with UV protection

Conservatory roof blinds are an effective way to protect your furniture and flooring from the harmful UV rays of the sun. The sun’s rays can cause damage to fabrics, wood, and other materials, causing them to fade and deteriorate over time. By using conservatory roof blinds, you can prevent this damage, ensuring that your conservatory looks beautiful for years to come.

Conservatory roof blinds help with energy efficiency

Conservatory roof blinds are an effective way to improve the energy efficiency of your conservatory. By regulating the amount of sunlight entering the room, you can reduce the amount of energy needed to cool the space in the summer and warm the space in the winter, making it more environmentally friendly and reducing your energy bills.

Conservatory roof blinds help with Privacy
Conservatory roofs are often overlooked by rooms higher in the house including in your own home or worse, your neighbour’s home. Conservatory roof blinds are an effective way to provide privacy in your conservatory. They can be used to block the view into your conservatory from the outside with the press of a button.

How To Fit Conservatory Roof Blinds

Here are the key steps for fitting a tensioned motorised roof pleated blind in a lean-to conservatory:

  1. Measure the width and length of the blind:
    • Take three width measurements (both sides and middle) and use the narrowest.
    • Measure length on both left and right sides, noting any difference
  2. Install brackets:
    • Mark and fix top brackets between spools and motors to avoid obstruction
    • Install bottom brackets: one on each end and one in the middle
  3. Attach the blind:
    • Clip the blind into the top fixed brackets first
    • Undo the cords and support wires carefully to avoid kinking
    • Pull down the bottom bar and clip it into the bottom brackets
  4. Adjust tension:
    • Tighten the stainless-steel support wires
    • Adjust the operating cord tension by moving the block in the bottom bar
  5. Install power source:
    • If no power at the top, use an external battery
    • Mount the battery below the blind using the provided clips or Velcro
  6. Set up the remote control:
    • Wake up the remote and select the correct channel for the blind
    • Test the blind operation using the down button

Remember to use appropriate fixings for your specific installation surface and handle the blind components with care during the fitting process.
