Twenty years ago, in the heart of Oldham, Lancashire, our family's passion for craftsmanship sparked what would become Skylight Blinds Direct. We can still hear the hum of those vintage Singer sewing machines as we created bespoke blinds for homes across Manchester and Greater Manchester. For us, it wasn't just about window coverings; it was about bringing quality and style into every home we touched. As the digital revolution unfolded, we saw an opportunity to expand our reach and bring our expertise to a wider audience. That's when we launched Skylight Blinds Direct - our foray into the online world that would change the game for window blind shopping. 

We realised that people were not only capable of measuring and fitting blinds themselves but that they wanted to be in charge of their projects, timelines, and finances. This insight drove us to create a platform that empowered our customers, giving them the tools and knowledge to transform their spaces on their own terms.
